Monica and Basil Deniacos' lifeless bodies were discovered by the couple's helper when she reported for work last Friday. Police spokesperson, Sam Makhele, earlier told OFM News they suspect a blunt object was used for the killings. 

Speaking to OFM News, Ntombela said she was shocked by the couple's horrific murder, and added she will attend the funeral.

Two Malawian suspects were arrested over the weekend for the crime but did not appear at the court for murder charges but on charges related to their illegal immigrant status.

Police say they are still on the manhunt for the killers who also stole the family's Toyota bakkie from their home, with Makhale saying they are investigating two cases of murder and house robbery.

The Hawks have since taken over the case and set to work with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of skillful, organised crime investigators.
