Staff at the Free State's Moqhaka Municipality had a different day on the job, when the new Executive Mayor, Lucky Phooko, took all of the staff from his office to different churches in Maokeng.
Speaking to OFM News outside the Methodist Church, Phooko said part of his first 100 days in office, is to make sure that people know about the changes that are happening within the municipality, and the plans stabilise the situation, particularly in Kroonstad, after the community burned down government buildings that include the post office, prior to May's general elections.
The new Mayor added people should know about his plans of fast-tracking issues regarding service delivery.
