One fatality in Soutpan head-on collision─── PULANE CHOANE 18:21 Wed, 12 Jun 2019
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in the Free State reported that one person has died on the R700 road between Soutpan and Bultfontein following an accident that took place earlier this morning.
The exact time when the accident happened, as well as the circumstances surrounding it, remain sketchy.
EMS’ spokesperson in the province, Sipho Towa, says two vehicles, namely a light motor vehicle and truck collided on that road. Paramedics declared that one person died on the scene, while another was then airlifted to MediClinic in Bloemfontein.
No further details have been provided on the accident, which will now form part of the local police’s investigations.
