Police spokesperson in the area, Wendy Nkabi, tells OFM News, for now the last person to see Zintle Makhoali is her father Sefume. He had just picked her up from school on Wednesday, June 12 around midday. Nkabi says Sefume took a nap after the pickup and later saw his daughter leaving the residence and opening the house gate wearing a red jacket and denim trousers. She urges anyone with information on the 15-year old’s whereabouts to contact Park Road police or go to the police station to report what they know.

Zintle’s disappearance comes three months after seven year old school girl Nthabiseng “Mingy” Makhoba’s battered little body was found in a Bloemfontein informal settlement. Makhoba, a grade two learner at Tebello Primary School in Rocklands, was last seen in the company of a friend and fellow learner after school on Monday, March 4. 

Two days after she was last seen, her decomposing body was discovered by Leabua Tjemolane and a group of his friends in an open field next to the R 702 headed to Dewetsdorp. She was still dressed in her school uniform. There have been no new developments in Makhoba’s murder.
