Authorities in the Free State are yet to make any headway in two missing teen cases in the province.

It is now close to seven days since a 15-year-old Fichardtpark girl has been missing from her Bloemfontein home. Park Road police say there have been no new developments in the case. The missing girl, Zintle Makhoali, was last seen by her father Sefume last week Wednesday (June 12) after he picked her up from school at around midday. Sefume says he had just taken a nap when he saw his daughter leaving the residence through the main gate, wearing a red jacket and jeans.

Elsewhere in the Free State.

The family of the 19-year-old man who was last seen on a fishing trip to the Vaal Dam outside Oranjeville in the Free State 12 days ago are still in the dark regarding his whereabouts. OFM News spoke to Bradley Coetzee’s mother, Lucy, regarding any new developments, she says they know nothing.

“I can’t even go sit at the dam, because it’s hard. You see a bubble come up and you see nothing. You don’t know where to look, you don’t know where he is. You just wonder what, where, when. Is this a nightmare and when is it going to end?” asks a sobbing Lucy.

The last person to see the younger Coetzee is his employer, who was also Bradley’s fishing partner on Friday, June 7. According to his mother, the missing teen was working at a hardware store at the time of his disappearance.

Police divers are still searching the Vaal Dam for the missing man, who was “wearing a white T-shirt, denim jacket, pair of jeans and brown nike sneakers”. It has been reported that so far authorities have recovered the canoe and a single shoe that belongs to Bradley.
