Body of new-born discovered in Rustenburg─── LUCKY NKUYANE 15:48 Mon, 24 Jun 2019
The ER24 medical emergency service has made a startling discovery when they found the body of a newborn baby in an open field in Tlhabane, Rustenburg, in the North West this afternoon.
ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring, says his members found the body of the baby boy lying amongst a large pile of refuse. He says they were called to the scene after a member of the public had spotted the body. Meiring says his members arrived at the scene at 12:40. Local security forces were already on the scene. He says the new-born had been dead for some time and nothing could be done by the paramedics.
“The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations,” Meiring concludes.
