#FSSOPA: Ntombela to transform economy─── PULANE CHOANE 17:30 Tue, 02 Jul 2019
Speaking on economic transformation and job creation during her State of the Province Address earlier in Bloemfontein today, Free State Premier, Sisi Ntombela, said that she will focus her efforts to transform the economy in line with the 4IR.
She plans to do this by focusing on Infrastructure Development Support; Green Economy; Digital Economy; Agro-processing; Retail and Services; and Industrialisation.
Speaking to OFM News, the Head of the Department of Small Business Development, Tourism and Environmental Affairs, Mbulelo Nokwequ, says they will be working very closely with Ntombela's office on the areas that the provincial government intends to focus on in its efforts to reduce youth unemployment within the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution, which refers to the digitalisation of services, as mentioned earlier on.
