This as the Mangaung Metro Municipal’s (MMM) power supply entity, Centlec, says this will be carried out due to its planned maintenance on some of its power supply systems. The entity’s spokesperson, Lele Mamatu, says this is necessary because they want to prevent further power failures, especially during this winter period.

The entity has recently carried out planned and unplanned power outages to various areas in Mangaung, which include areas in the north and the south. Mamatu says no specific residential areas will be affected by this, except the CBD.
