Destea MEC, Makalo Mohale, and his fellow MEC for Agriculture, William Bulwane, will on Wednesday 10 July 2019 outline some of their key elements and components of their departments.

These elements and components will seek to clarify both departments' mandates and positions on driving some of these key issues within the current economic climate that the province finds itself in.

The two departments will also want to deal with issues of the high rate of youth unemployment, environmental issues and rural development.

These two budget speeches follow after the others, which were delivered by MEC Mamiki Qabathe for Social Development and Limakatso Mahasa for Sport, Arts, Culture and Recreation.

All opposition parties which include the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), Democratic Alliance (DA), and Freedom Front Plus (FF+) rejected both budget speeches saying they were not speaking to the needs of the people.

Dignitaries, including councillors, ordinary members of the public in and around Mangaung, and the private sector filled the legislature to capacity.
