Two nabbed with drugs in Bothaville─── KATLEHO MORAPELA 10:13 Wed, 17 Jul 2019
Two suspects arrested for the illegal possession of drugs in Bothaville in the Free State are expected to appear before the Local Magistrate’s Court today.
This, after the police in the area arrested them last week in possession of 65 quarters of Mandrax, 23 halves of Mandrax, 3 CAT, 4 Crystal Meth, dagga and cash.
Police spokesperson, Stephen Thakeng, says the pair aged 34 and 44 have remained in custody and will appear in court today. Meanwhile, Cluster Commander for the Welkom area, Lerato Molale, has sent her gratitude to members of the community for the tip-off and constant efforts in reporting criminal activities in the area. He further warned that no stone will be left unturned in the fight against crime and vowed to bring to book those engaging in criminal activities in the area.
