This is according to the Free State Legislature who had sent their heartfelt condolences to the family.

OFM News previously reported that his wife, mother-in-law and three children were returning from Johannesburg when the accident occurred. The three individuals who were declared dead at the scene were Mokone’s 10-month-old son Bareutlwile, 9-year-old daughter Bophelo, and mother-in-law Kiki Makae. His 6-year-old daughter Lesedi was admitted to the Mediclinic Bloemfontein where she fought for her life. She, unfortunately, passed away on Monday due to her critical injuries.

Mediclinic spokesperson, Barbara Steenkamp, told OFM News that Mokone’s wife, Nako, was discharged on Tuesday.

The Free State Provincial Legislature released a statement on Wednesday stating that the memorial service of Mokone's mother-in-law commenced this afternoon in Thabong in Welkom where she will also be buried on Saturday 5 October. This service will start at 08:00 at the CRC in Welkom.

The funeral service of their 6-year-old daughter and her 10-month-old brother will take place on Thursday morning 3 October at 09:00 at the Phehellang Secondary School Hall, in Tumahole, Parys.

On Saturday morning 5 October at 08:00, Mokone's 9-year-old daughter’s funeral service will be held at the Kingdom Ministry Church in Dagbreek in Welkom.

The accident occurred on the ZR Mahabane Road near Odendaalsrus, between Welkom and Kroonstad.
