Traditional singer’s vehicle still missing following #Satmas─── OLEBOGENG MOTSE 15:10 Thu, 03 Oct 2019
The vehicle belonging to award-winning traditional singer, Galaletsang Lekoma, known as Mmaausi, is yet to be recovered several days after it was stolen outside the venue of the 14th South African Traditional Music Achievement (Satma) awards.
North West police say there have been no new developments in the matter.
Lekoma managed to scoop the best female artist award at the glitzy music award ceremony held at the Mmabatho Convention Centre in Mahikeng on Saturday, September 28, before making the discovery. Police spokesperson, Adele Myburgh, told OFM News previously that Lekoma arrived and parked her seven-seater vehicle outside the Convention Centre at 18:50. She explains what happened after Lekoma sent someone to fetch something from her vehicle.
It is reported that the girl sent to go looking for the Toyota Wish SUV was unable to find it and reported this to Lekoma. She then went there herself, to look for it, to no avail.
