OFM News was informed reliably that a learner from Reikaeletse Secondary School in Koffiefontein was stabbed by a fellow learner on Tuesday afternoon, October 15. Information surrounding the incident is limited at this stage but the spokesperson of the Free State Department of Education, Howard Ndaba, confirms the learner later succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital.

The Chairperson of the School Governing Body (SGB) declined to comment on the matter, only calling the incident a dark cloud hanging over the school.

This is a developing story.
