This as a photo message addressed to Naledi Local Municipal employees - which include Vryburg - informs them that their contributions starting from 2017 to September 2019 have not been paid to third parties.

The South African municipal workers union (SAMWU) provincial secretary, Vincent Diphoko, has confirmed to OFM News that indeed the municipality has not paid workers' contribution to the third parties. 

He says the municipality is not the only one in the province that has been failing to pay these contributions to the third parties. Vincent says this has become a nightmare to many of its members, but efforts are afoot to see what can be done to salvage the situation. 

OFM News is still awaiting comment from the municipality.
