Community leader and pastor, Simon Khomojong, describes the incident that took place outside Reikaletse Secondary School on Tuesday afternoon as the work of the devil. He says as such the residents will pray for both family of Khathane and the accused in the matter - a teenager who has since appeared in court and was remanded in custody at Grootvlei prison juvenile section in Bloemfontein.

Khomojong says the incidents have left residents shocked and heartbroken. This comes as the 17-year-old Itumeleng Witbooi, who was murdered at school after a fight broke out at Blinkklip Secondary School in Postmasburg in the Northern Cape last week, was laid to rest yesterday.
