Three dead, one seriously injured in FS accident─── LUCKY NKUYANE 09:32 Thu, 31 Oct 2019

The Free State Emergency Medical Services (EMS) has cautioned motorists to adhere to the speed limit and avoid reckless driving following the death of three people in a collision on Wednesday night on the ZR Mahabane Road (R30).
The EMS spokesperson, Sipho Towa, says one person was also seriously injured and transported to the Pelonomi Trauma Unit in Bloemfontein. He says this as two bakkies collided about 5km from Brandfort to Bloemfontein on the R30. He says the accident happened when the bakkies were overtaking.
This accident comes after several accidents in the province this month which claimed the lives of commuters. On Sunday 13 October eight people suffered injuries ranging from minor to critical when a car veered out of control and overturned on Bergius Street in Sasolburg. A single-vehicle was found on its roof in the middle of the road. A 30-year-old female was found to have suffered critical injuries, was treated using advanced life support interventions, and transported to Metsimaholo Hospital for further care.
