This year’s Black Friday has seen various stores opening their doors at midnight or earlier than usual, promising to also close late. On this day shops are offering even better deals than usual. The culture started in America dating back to the 1950s and is now being embraced by various countries including Mexico, Canada, Japan, Australia, and even Central South Africa.

Various shoppers say that they are excited about the day and have budgeted for it, meanwhile, others say they did not budget for it and might even be derailed from their financial plans by the amazing bargains.

OFM News recently reported that the North West Consumer Affairs Office cautioned consumers to be vigilant and to not spend recklessly on this day.
