Robber shot and killed following robbery in Bloemspruit─── LUCKY NKUYANE 10:45 Sun, 15 Dec 2019
A suspected robber was shot and killed and another arrested following the assault of a couple in their 70s on Saturday night at their smallholding in Bloemspruit in the Free State.
ER24 spokesperson, Ross Campbells says the husband and wife were assaulted and suffered serious head injuries during the alleged robbery.
He says when ER24 responded to a call its paramedics found both a security company and South African Police Services (SAPS) members already on the scene.
Campbell adds that the suspected who was shot showed no signs of life and was declared dead on the scene. The police are yet to comment.
