#ChildTragedies: Makgoe, Ntombela to visit school─── MARVIN NTSANE 12:36 Tue, 10 Mar 2020

The premier of the Free State, Sisi Ntombela, and Education MEC, Tate Makgoe, will visit the Tsholetsang Primary School in Bloemfontein tomorrow.
This after reports of the tragic death of the 8-year-old Relebohile Mokgadi who was a learner at that school last week. Ntombela and Makgoe will also visit the bereaved family of Mokgadi.
According to a statement by the department, Mokgadi fell ill and died after allegedly eating a candy bar or chocolate at the school. Six other learners, whom Mokgadi allegedly shared it with, fell ill and were rushed to hospital where they are recovering.
Makgoe said the death of Mokgadi left him saddened. He says Mokgadi still had his whole life ahead of him. He further adds that investigations by relevant authorities are still underway to find the cause of Mokgadi’s death.
