#Coronavirus: 58 citizens from FS & NW repatriated─── LUCKY NKUYANE 11:50 Fri, 13 Mar 2020
At least 58 Central South Africans will be returning home today from the Coronavirus-stricken City of Wuhan in Hubei province, China.
Health Minister, Zweli Mkhize, on Thursday night announced that fifty-six people from the Free State and two from neighbouring North West are among those being repatriated.
Initially, sixty-eight people - believed to bursary students from the Free State - were also confirmed to be among those who are being repatriated.
This, after their parents had pleaded with the provincial government to bring them back following fears of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Mkhize yesterday revised the earlier confirmed Coronavirus case from the Free State and said after several tests the results of the 32-year-old man came back negative.
