The matter was brought to the police’s attention on 16 March when the child informed day-care personnel of what had happened. It is alleged that the incident happened on 14 March 2020 when the child visited his father in the township of Club 2000 in Kimberley. The suspect is currently in custody and is expected to appear before the Galashewe Magistrates’ Courton a charge of rape. Police spokesperson, Dimakatso Mooi,says its police investigation continues.
