Comply with #21daysLockdown regulations, pleads Ntombela─── KATLEHO MORAPELA 16:59 Fri, 27 Mar 2020
Free State Premier Sisi Ntombela has appealed to residents to remain at their homes and comply with the regulations of the national 21-day lockdown as declared by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
This as the number of those infected spiked to over 1 000 with Gauteng being the epicentre followed by the Western Cape, KwaZulu-Natal and the Free State.
Day one of the lockdown saw Health Minister Zweli Mkhize confirm the first two deaths due to the Coronavirus disease in the Western Cape. While Ntombela's political party has thus far called on law enforcement and the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) to continue arresting people who are violating the lockdown regulations, Ntombela has further called on members of the public who have attended the Divine Restoration Church where the high number of people were affected to come forward.
Meanwhile, OFM News yesterday reported that three more Bloemfontein-based churches have been affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
These include the popular Global Reconciliation Church, the Eagle Christian Church Restoration Centre and the Word to the World Ministry.
