NW duo arrested for drug dealing─── MARVIN NTSANE 10:30 Mon, 20 Apr 2020
The two men aged 30 and 35 are expected to appear before the Brits Magistrate’s Court in North West today, 20 April 2020, for dealing in drugs.
The police spokesperson, Sam Tselanyane, says the duo was arrested on Friday after the police received a tip-off about a suspicious minibus taxi in the Oukasie Location just outside Brits.
He says upon arrival a search was conducted and drugs and a large sum of money were found.
Tselanyane says police further went to the suspects’ residence and found 71 pinches of nyaope, 22 live ammunition and cash.
He says in total R58 317,20 was confiscated. Tselanyane adds that the investigation continues.
