The incident follows after the family have been using a gas stove since their area have allegedly been without electricity since August 2019.

Disgruntled community members are blaming Eskom for the unfortunate deaths, claiming the family resorted to using a gas stove, after Eskom discontinued electricity supply in some parts of Sebokeng.

Responding to this claim,  an official from Eskom in the Sedibeng region, Victor Ramagaga, told OFM News that Eskom is still investigating this incident.

The family will be laid to rest on Saturday.
