The body is believed to have been burnt with tyres.

Police spokesperson, Aafje Botma, confirmed the discovery to OFM News and stated that a case of murder has been opened after police found the body of a man between the ages of 20 and 30 years old.

Although it is alleged that a man went missing two weeks ago in the area, Botma says no missing persons case was opened at the local police station.

Police investigations are underway.
