Woman in police custody for killing ex-boyfriend─── 06:26 Fri, 05 Jun 2020
A 27-year-old woman has been arrested by Ottosdal police in the North West for allegedly killing her ex-boyfriend.
The incident happened at Extension 5 in Letsopa last weekend, with provincial police spokesperson Adele Myburgh saying police were called to a scene, and found a man with several stab wounds.
Paramedics declared him dead on the scene. Myburgh told OFM news the suspect will re-appear before the Ottosdal Magistrate's Court on June 9.
She will face a charge of murder. The suspect is meanwhile being detained at the Ottosdal police station, after she was denied bail.
The motive for the murder is still not known at this stage.
