The police in the Northern Cape have arrested two suspects who allegedly stole a motor vehicle in Kimberley.
The male suspects, aged 20 and 21 years old, were arrested yesterday whilst driving a Honda Civic that was reported stolen on Friday.
Police spokesperson, Sergio Kock, says the vehicle was spotted on the gravel road between Barkly West and Windsorton where the police later made the arrest.
The pair is expected to appear before the Kimberley Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Acting District Commissioner of the Frances Baard District, Charlotte Makgari, has applauded members of Barkly West Visible Policing for the arrest and sent a stern warning against any criminal activities in the area.
