The provincial police spokesperson, Mohale Ramatseba, says they were arrested after members of the community tipped off the police.

He says this comes after a local school reported the incident at Mothibistad police station last month. He says during investigations the police discovered the stolen items, with an estimated worth of close to R200 000, at various locations.

Ramatseba also says a water pump and a solar panel linked to other cases were also recovered. He adds that the John Taole Gaetsewe District Commissioner, Johan Bean, applauds the police and community members for ensuring the suspects are brought to book.
