Vaal residents up in arms─── ELSABÉ RICHARD 13:03 Mon, 29 Jun 2020
Protest action by Sebokeng residents in the Vaal Triangle along the N1 on Monday morning resulted in delays and traffic congestion.
According to police spokesperson, Kay Makhubele, residents were complaining about service delivery and power outages in the area. He says residents were barricading the N1 and the R28 Randfontein Road. Makhubele adds police were deployed to the area and managed to take control of the situation. He says traffic is flowing as normal.
