This comes after officers tested positive for Covid-19. The police spokesperson, Thandi Mbambo, says these police stations are in Kroonstad and Allanridge. She says the closures are for the decontamination to be done. She also adds that the telephone lines at these stations will not be operational for the duration of the closure.

Mbambo says a community service centre has been established behind the Kroonstad SAPS from where they will temporarily operate. She further says the community can also phone the Kroonstad Cluster on 056 216 5600 for any emergencies and complaints.

She says in Allanridge the community will be served from the contact point situated at the entrance to Nyakallong. She adds that the community may call 057-910-8100/082-466-6632 for the duration of the closure.
