The Free State Provincial Government spokesperson, Setjhaba Maphalla, says all employees were requested to immediately vacate the building to allow for decontamination and deep cleaning.

The building houses the Office of the Premier, Public Works employees and those of Cogta.

Maphalla says employees are expected to return to the building on Thursday, once the building has been decontaminated and contact tracing done by the department of health.
