The Free State Department of Education spokesperson, Howard Ndaba, tells OFM News that the department has met with the school and necessary action will be taken regarding the violent behaviour that was captured on video.

The video, which is in OFM News' possession, shows a group of learners surrounding one boy. After a heated discussion, one learner punches another.

The high school’s headmaster, Deon Scheepers, says they are handling the issue in accordance with the code of conduct and the appropriate procedures of the school.

‘’We are extremely disappointed in this behaviour, seeing as being an ambassador for Grey College is mentioned on more than one occasion in our code of conduct,” concluded Scheepers.
