#Coronavirus: Emfuleni records three deaths─── 11:34 Sun, 12 Jul 2020
The Emfuleni local municipality in the Vaal Triangle, in Gauteng, has recorded three Covid-19 deaths.
Municipal spokesperson, Stan Gaba, confirmed the passing of the three employees.
The employees had recently tested positive for Covid-19, and were admitted at various hospitals.
The latest death was recorded on Friday 10 July.
Gaba tells OFM News that 24 other employees have tested positive for Covid-19.
The Sedibeng region has 3,400 confirmed Covid-19 cases, with Gauteng being the epicentre in South Africa.
