There has been a development in the case of a missing teenager, as his vehicle was found abandoned in Harrismith on Tuesday.
This is according to Free State police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele, who says the 19-year-old Stefan Niewoudt was last seen on 12 July, reportedly on his way to visit a friend at a farm near Verkykerskop.
Makhele says that the mother of Stefan’s friend says that he never arrived at the farm as planned.
With the help of the community, his the white car was found abandoned at the Platberg mountain in Harrismith. The search for the teen continues, with the help of the police K9-unit and the community.
