#CoronavirusFS: Odendaalsrus Police Station reopens─── MARVIN NTSANE 10:12 Thu, 16 Jul 2020
The Odendaalsrus Police Station in the Free State reopened its doors on Thursday. The station was closed after an officer tested positive for Covid-19 earlier this week.
Provincial police spokesperson, Thandi Mbambo, says the police station’s building has been decontaminated. She adds that the officers who were affected are following necessary Covid-19 related protocols under the strict guidelines of the Department of Health.
Mbambo says the Acting Provincial Commissioner, Solly Lesia, appreciates the continuous support and patience of the community during these closures.
Meanwhile, the Bloemspruit, Welkom and Tierpoort Police Stations are the most recent in the province to close their doors due to Covid-19 related cases.
