The scheduled maintenance outage commenced yesterday morning at 06:00, and supply was due to be restored at 17:00.

Technical complications, however, resulted in a delayed recovery time.

 To complete the additional tasks resulting from the complications, another planned outage is scheduled to commence today at 10:00.

Supply should be restored by 17:00.

Eskom apologised for the inconvenience and urged customers to remain patient and to treat all electrical appliances as live and dangerous at all times.
