Speaker of the Free State Legislature, Ntombizanele Sifuba, will respond to questions from the media who wish to participate in the post-budget vote which will be streamed live via the Legislature's Facebook Page and YouTube.

The financial struggles of local municipalities and structuring of management in municipalities are expected to be headliners in the briefing. Opposition parties have expressed that a lot has to be done to assist the ailing municipalities and its highly criticised debt to Eskom.

OFM News previously reported that the Free State Treasury had allocated over R49 million towards a Finance Management Programme. The financial issues of municipalities has been heavily criticised by opposition parties - which claim that there is greed within the municipal offices.
