#Covid19 recovery rate climbs to 76%─── 12:52 Fri, 14 Aug 2020

South Africa’s Covid-19 recovery rate continues to increase and now stands at 76%.
Out of 572 865 infections recorded by Thursday evening, 437 617 people have recovered from the deadly virus.
In the last 24 hours leading up to Thursday, 3 946 new Covid-19 infections were recorded.
A total of 20 063 tests were conducted since the last report.
Gauteng still accounts for the majority of Covid-19 infections, followed by KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape.
Covid-19 related deaths have also increased by 260 since the last report and now stand at 11 270.
