Details around the incident remain sketchy at this stage, with provincial police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele, telling OFM News that the deceased, Leslie Mosikidi, was found lying in the lounge area of his home in Saaiplaas residential area, by his live-in partner.

He reportedly had blood coming from his nose and mouth and was no longer breathing. Makhele says Mosikidi’s partner called the neighbours for assistance after attempting to resuscitate him. He says it is then that they all realised that some of Mosikidi’s belongings were missing.

“These missing belongings include the deceased’s 1997 blue Mercedes Benz, two plasma TVs, a wallet, shoes and his cellphone. The vehicle’s registration plates are FWM785 FS.

“Cases of murder and house robbery were registered for further investigation. An appeal is made to the community to provide any information which might help to trace the suspects and the stolen vehicle” says Makhele.

There is no indication has to how many suspects authorities are looking for at this stage. Police appeal to anyone with information to come forward.
