This, as the water supply will be affected on Thursday after a pipe on the main line burst. The areas that will be affected include Pellissier, Lourierpark and Fichardt Park in Bloemfontein as well as Dewetsdorp.  

The Metro spokesperson, Qondile Khedama, confirms that the pipe was struck accidentally during the installation of a new pipeline today. He explains that water tankers will be on standby at all the affected areas, adding that the municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused.
