Memorial for Bfn lawyer to be streamed─── MARVIN NTSANE 16:41 Fri, 04 Sep 2020
A memorial service for a well-known lawyer from Bloemfontein, Nico Naudé, is to be held at the Free State National Botanical Gardens on Saturday.
OFM News previously reported he was discovered dead in his home late last week. It is believed that he died from a heart attack.
His memorial service proceedings will be done under strict Covid-19 protocols, with no more than 50 mourners allowed. For those unable to physically attend, the service will be live streamed on social media at 10:50.
According to a source, Naudé was meant to pick up his sister to go to the coast for holiday last Thursday morning. When he failed to show up they reportedly broke into his house and found his body.
Naudé was involved, amongst others, in the so-called “Reitz four” case, where students of the University of the Free State were found guilty of crimen injuria after they took a video of cleaners eating what was portrayed as food laced with urine.
