Provincial police spokesperson, Brigadier Motantsi Makhele, in a statement says the teenage boy is expected to apply for bail.

This follows after he made his first appearance, where the matter was postponed last week.

He confirms the bruised body of Tlhobelo’s alleged girlfriend, Tshepo Diphoko, was found on Spring Day inside a vandalised building in Phomolong, Bultfontein.

"Preliminary investigations revealed that the deceased was last seen with her boyfriend a day before her body was discovered,” Makhele adds.

Investigations continue.
