The police in Bloemfontein confirm Nomalanga Agnes Nyembe, who was reported missing on Tuesday, has been found unharmed walking at Hoffman Square in the CBD.
Police spokesperson, Thabo Covane, confirms Nyembe, who is in her mid-forties, was found on Wednesday night a day after she was said to have left Aliwal North in a taxi travelling to Bloemfontein.
Covane says the taxi in which Nyembe was travelling, dropped her off in Harvey Road where she was supposed to be picked up by her daughter who lives in Heidedal. Her daughter could not find her.
Covane says according to the family, Nyembe is mentally ill, and they confirm she is now safe and unharmed.
