Elderly Sasolburg couple robbed of R70k─── 06:15 Thu, 24 Sep 2020

Police in Free State has launched a manhunt after an elderly couple were assaulted and robbed in Sasolburg.
The incident happened on Tuesday.
Police spokesperson Motantsi Makhele said the suspect is believed to be the couple's employee.
"It is alleged that the victims Mr Loots (72) and Mrs Loots (73) arrived home…from shopping. Upon arrival, they met one of their employees Themba Khumalo (27) in their yard.
"Themba forced himself through the kitchen door after the couple entered their house and started to assault and stabbed Mr and Mrs Loots with a braai fork."
Makhele says the employee fled with a bag containing R70 000 in cash.
