Centlec, who distributes electricity in areas under the jurisdiction of Mangaung, Kopanong, Naledi, Mantsopa and Mohokare Municipalities, has temporarily closed its drawing office due to a positive case of Covid-19 that has been reported.
Spokesperson Lele Mamatu, verified the information to OFM News, adding the office will be closed for purposes of decontamination and will only re-open once all due processes and safe protocols have been followed. Centlec apologises for the inconvenience this might have caused to their customers.
Mamatu says one of Centlec’s employees who tested positive for Covid-19 went into quarantine and confirmed that he tested positive on Thursday.
“As a result we had to immediately close down the offices that he was working in, including the surroundings,” says Mamatu.
"The surrounding offices are those of planning, as well as the drawing section."
