On Thursday morning, the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) started arresting those implicated in the embezzling of state funds.

The NPA said it will do all it can to retrieve the R255-million spent on the 2014 Free State Asbestos Auditing project.

Evidence presented at the state capture inquiry has indicated how prices were grossly inflated.

Several officials were arrested on Wednesday in connection with the 2014 Free State Asbestos project.

OFM News reported on Wednesday that the Hawks in the Free State are in pursuit of the seventh suspect following the arrest of six people on Wednesday, over the controversial R255 million asbestos project.
