Orange Farm murder suspect abandons bail application─── 11:42 Tue, 20 Oct 2020
Pontsho Mohlanka, who is accused of killing several minors in Orange Farm in the Vaal, has abandoned her bail application at the Vereeniging Magistrate's court today.
The 29-year-old Mohlanka is expected back in Court on November 17, while she remains in custody at the Johannesburg women’s prison.
Last month Orange Farm residents were highly upset following the discovery of 8-year-old Mpho Makondo, and 6-year-Old Simpiwe Mgcina.
Ealier this year, another minor was murdered and his body discovered hidden in the refrigerator at Mohlanka’s tavern.
Ofm news field correspondent Paila Chauke report Sejo Ubisi, the father of one of the victims, says it is surprising that the accused has abandoned her bail application.
