Limpho Namane and Joseph Galiboe, who are both 25, according to the Hawks’ Lynda Steyn, represent the Billionaires Matrix Club, an investment trading company. 

The two allegedly approached the complainant to invest R20 000 in stock trading on 23 January 2018, with the belief that there will be a turnover to be paid to her. The duo, despite still being operational, did not pay back the promised amount to the complainant and with countless attempts, were not able to be reached.

The Hawks Serious Commercial Crime Unit served a summons on the accused persons to appear in the Welkom Magistrate's Court on Wednesday 21 October 2020 on charges of contravening Section 7 of the FIAS Act. The case has been remanded to 11 November 2020 for legal aid.
