Four gun-wielding men robbed a well-known bank of an undisclosed amount of money in Welkom in the Free State on Monday.
Police spokesperson, Motantsi Makhele, says the four gained entrance through the dedicated door for business banking clients.
The assailants allegedly then robbed the bankers at gunpoint and took bags containing an undisclosed amount of cash that was set to be deposited by these clients.
Makhele adds that the four fled the scene in a new, black BMW with registration number DDY 111 FS. A manhunt for the suspects has been launched by police in the area. “The suspects are still on the loose and a manhunt has been launched.
