Mangaung to host ANC 8th Statement─── LUCKY NKUYANE 12:47 Sat, 14 Nov 2020
The ANC January 8 Statement, which coincides with the birth of the party, will be celebrated at its birthplace in Mangaung in the Free State.
This is according to the Secretary-General (SG) Ace Magashule.
Addressing a large contingent of ANC members, Magashule announced that the ANC will be back in Mangaung to celebrate its 109th birthday.

"It's not my decision (but that of) the national working committee (NWC) on behalf of the National Executive Committee (NEC). The following year (2022) we will go to Limpopo," he adds.
He was addressing the crowd outside the Bloemfontein Magistrate's court where he appeared on charges of fraud and corruption in connection with the failed asbestos roof project where millions of rands were squandered.
